Perth influencer Em Davies tried to sell an old couch on Facebook Marketplace, though not everyone agreed with its price tag.
The pregnant social media star reportedly attempted to sell her dirty white linen couch for $900, with pictures of the linen sofa appearing stained and not up to scratch in the eyes of some.
Sisters Kate, Sophie and Amy Taeuber of the Outspoken podcast discussed the 30-year-old’s efforts, supporting Davies’ honesty in noting the couch was indeed worn in the ad.
“Em was very honest in the ad about it, she didn’t try to conceal the marks, she did have them on full display,” the sisters said.

While admitting they thought the local influencer had every right to sell the item, the arguably hefty price tag may have been on the “expensive” side for a second-hand item of furniture.
“It’s ridiculous what people are charging these days,” the sisters said.

Davies and her fiance Joel Cambin are expecting their first child in August — a baby girl — which the sisters considered could be the reason for the couch’s departure.
They pondered whether a “kid friendly” replacement may be on the cards for the couple.
