Titans LT JC Latham named to '2024 All-Rookie Team'

The Tennessee Titans have had the worst left tackle situation in the NFL for multiple years running now and the hope is that first-round pick JC Latham can solve that issue.

So far, Latham has shown just about everything you'd expect to see out of a player who is going to make it. Not only has he displayed progress, Latham has also shown the kind of work ethic necessary to be great.

As if that wasn't enough to believe in him, Latham has one of the best offensive line coaches in the sport teaching him in Bill Callahan.

In a recent article that puts together an "All-Rookie Team" ahead of the 2024 campaign, Latham was listed as one of the tackles, with Chad Reuter of NFL.com projecting him to be one of the "instant-impact newcomers" around the league.

Latham is another rookie tackle lining up at a new spot in the pros, moving to the left side with the Titans after stoutly holding down the right side at Alabama. At 6-foot-6, 342 pounds, Latham will be a sturdy wall in pass protection for second-year quarterback Will Levis thanks to his wide base and 35 1/8-inch arms. Latham will also move defenders to create running lanes for new feature back Tony Pollard and backups Tyjae Spears and Hassan Haskins.

There's still a long way to go before we can determine if Latham is the guy for quarterback Will Levis' blindside, but we can say this: so far, things are looking good.
