Queen Maxima of the Netherlands stepped out in a striking hat and elegant cream dress with matching accessories for a special networking event in Utrecht today.
The European royal, 53, kept her face shielded from the sun in a wide-brimmed cream hat, in keeping with the statement styles we've noticed the Queen of the Netherlands wearing lately.
Queen Maxima was spotted last month wearing a similar statement style hat from Brussels designer Maison Fabienne Delvinge, this time in a straw colour with a folded ribbon detail at the back.
For the Global Leadership Exchange in the Jaarbeurs in Utrecht, Maxima teamed an elegant appliqué dress with the bold hat and simple nude heels, dressing up the look with sparkling bracelets on her wrist and statement earrings. A boxy cream clutch finished the neutral ensemble.
Letting her chic hat take centre stage, the royal pined her blonde hair up and swept it back off her face, with simple eye makeup and a subtle pink glossy lip completing the summery look.

The Global Leadership Exchange, held in Utrecht, is a week-long learning and networking event that takes place every two years.
The event brings together world leaders in fields such as mental health, disability and substance to share their knowledge and strive for a more inclusive world.
This year the Leadership Exchange was held at Jaarbeurs, an event space located in the centre of The Netherlands, 30 minutes from Schiphol Airport.
It's been a week full of engagements for Queen Maxima, who was pictured yesterday in a vibrant summer ensemble as she visited sustainability group in Friesland.
For the event Maxima opted for a more casual outfit, wearing a sheer red top embroidered with floral designs and flared blue jeans.
The Queen travelled to the province to visit Vereniging Circulair Friesland, a partnership between various companies and organisations in the sustainability field.
The organisation spoke with the Queen about their research into reusing existing raw materials in the most effective and sustainable way.
