Anthony Albanese showed 'principled leadership' during Julian Assange case
Julian Assange’s lawyer Jennifer Robinson discussed Prime Minister Anthony Albanese's "principled leadership" during the saga.
WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange has returned to Australia as a free man after pleading guilty to espionage in a plea deal to secure his release.
His legal team and wife attempted a media conference on Thursday.
“It was so remarkable having walked him into a police station in 2010 to be able to walk him on a plane in London and escort him home to Australia,” Ms Robinson said.
