Weather for weekend of June 29 and 30 and London Pride after mini-heatwave
The mini-heatwave of this week saw temperatures soar into the high 20s for London. Now, as many people look to the weekend and actually being able to spend time enjoying the sun rather than working indoors, the good weather is set to stay - albeit not as hot.
Yesterday (June 26) temperatures reached a dizzying 29C making it a sweltering journey for many on their way to Glastonbury from the capital. Whilst today (June 27), the temperature will drop to 24C, it is still positively hot.
And then tomorrow (June 28), temperatures drop a bit more, down to 22C, with both days seeing sunny intervals. However, on Saturday, June 29, the weather improves again.

The BBC has forecast that Saturday will see uninterrupted sun from the moment it rises at 5am until 2pm. Temperatures will start at 13C, continuously rising to 23 degrees at 2pm and then hitting 25 degrees at 5pm.
From 4pm there will be sunny intervals for the rest of the day with the sun setting around 10pm. The night will be cloudy and see lows of 16C.
Sunday, June 30, will start off cloudy and that cloud will persist for the rest of the day but with sunny intervals. Temperatures will rise from 16C in the early hours to highs of 22C at 5pm.
The weekend may not be as hot as the week has been however it will still be delightfully warm. It would be worth making the most of this dry weather too as July looks to be rainy from the get-go.
