2024 NCT Dream World Tour –The Dream Show 3 : Dream()Scape In Singapore With Lotte Duty Free
K-pop boy band NCT Dream will be back for more shows in Singapore.
They last staged a sold-out concert here at the Singapore Indoor Stadium in May 2023.
A sub-unit of NCT formed by SM Entertainment in 2016, the group are on their third world tour, which includes other Asian cities such as Tokyo, Hong Kong and Bangkok.
NCT Dream, the only Asian act to be featured on Billboard’s 21 Under 21 list for three years running (2018 to 2020), released their latest album Dream()Scape on March 25.
Their debut EP We Boom came out in 2019. Their first full album, Hot Sauce, dropped in 2021 and won Best Album at the 31st Seoul Music Awards. It was also the best-selling album on South Korea’s Gaon Chart in the first half of 2021.

Joe Flizzow – This Is Johan Live In Singapore

Hip-hop luminary Joe Flizzow, dubbed the Godfather of Malaysian Rap, is holding a solo concert in Singapore.
The rapper, whose real name is Johan Ishak, made his name in the late 1990s as one half of popular hip-hop duo Too Phat, with fellow rapper Malique. He went solo in 2017 after Too Phat went on hiatus.
Best known for songs such as Satu Malam Di Temasek (One Night In Temasek, 2022), he is also one of the founders of 16 Baris, a popular YouTube series featuring performances from rappers across South-east Asia.
In 2018, the Johor-born rapper was named Best South-East Asia Act at the MTV Europe Music Awards, the first Malaysian to win the prize.

Jazz In July 2024

The Esplanade’s annual month-long jazz festival is back again, celebrating the genre in all its myriad forms with artistes from around the world.
Most of the performances are free, although some are ticketed.
These include the performances by Jazzmeia Horn, who will stage two concerts on July 5 and 6. The American singer has earned three Grammy nominations, including Best Jazz Vocal Album for her 2017 debut album, A Social Call.
Other ticketed concerts are by Italy-born, New York City-based jazz guitarist Pasquale Grasso on July 12, Israeli jazz pianist Shai Maestro on July 22 and Brazilian guitarist, vocalist and composer Pedro Martins on July 26.
Horn, Grasso, Maestro and Martins will also share their artistry through workshops.
The free shows include performances by home-grown jazz acts Grooveworks and Omniform on July 5 that is a tribute to the late Singapore-based British saxophonist Greg Lyons.
