Belen stays with NU in 2nd straight title bid
(UPDATE) BELLA Belen decided to stay with the NU Lady Bulldogs for a second straight title bid in the UAAP women's volleyball tournament.
The two-time Most Valuable Player (MVP) announced her decision in an Instagram post on Tuesday.
"Redemption complete," wrote Belen, alluding to Lady Bulldogs championship run in Season 86 following their unsuccessful title defense in Season 85, losing to La Salle.

"We're not yet done. Time to make it two in a row! See you all next season," added Belen who turns 22 on the 29th.
Belen, also a two-time 1st Best Outside Spiker, could have easily been within top three in the Premier Volleyball League's first-ever Rookie Draft set on July 8 at Novotel.
Belen's running mate Alyssa Solomon, a two-time Best Opposite Spiker and last season's Finals MVP, has yet to announce her decision, though.
Belen and Solomon are members of the Alas Pilipinas pool for the 2024 Challenger Cup slated from July 4 to 7 here in Manila.
Alas looks to put up a good showing in the 2025 Volleyball Nations League qualifying tournament.
The Jorge Souza de Brito-coached team just made history in the AVC Challenger Cup last May, giving the Philippines' its first-ever podium finish with a bronze medal.
