ALBAWABA - Users across X (formerly known as Twitter) are mad at Elon Musk and his team after several reported that they have been allegedly losing both followers and subscribers on their accounts.

Users are speculating that the incident in question was caused due to a "massive bot surge" or "mass suspension of accounts." several X users judged Elon Musk and his development team through a series of hateful comments.

A users said, "X purge going on. Many accounts losing thousands of followers, (I lost 5,000 in the blink of an eye), bot purge?Most concerning are accounts being randomly suspended…. I haven’t unfollowed anyone (but X has unfollowed 2,000 on my behalf) so let me know & I’ll refollow."

Grok which is X's AI tool summed up this story from a series of users complaining about the matter including ones with millions of followers.

X user Dr. Anastasiya Maria Loupis claimed that Elon Musk removed her subscribers and followers. Additionally, she added that he also limited 90 percent of her reach.

Many others also agreed with Loupis and shared similar incidents with their accounts making it suspicious as to what exactly caused this. Another user claimed that this happens to them on a nightly basis as they lose anywhere between 1,200 and 4,800 followers.

By the time of writing this article, neither Elon Musk nor his development team responded to the ongoing issue.
