Oilers fans in Edmonton loyal despite Stanley Cup Game 7 defeat
Obviously we didn't put ourselves in the greatest position going down 30. It's not always the greatest, but we battled back. That was a good part. We came close in the end, 2 to one, almost got there, but you know, just needed a little bit more. It was very close. Definitely a little sad. You know, I think we'll be back, so shake it off. We'll be back next year. You're getting a little emotional. I know I'm watching this. It's a little tough to watch, but here's what it is. We'll be back. Like we had a good ride with all the teams. We didn't think that where we could be in the playoffs and then all of a sudden we get a ride and we're winning, winning, winning. So to get to this spot, but now it brings back the old memories of 06. We get the finals and we lose game seven. So it's like, oh man, it kind of sucks, but. Be here we experience this camaraderie. So it's just been die hard fan since day one, but progressively more just in this last year. Honestly, it's it's been amazing. Like I've been here since 2006 Edmonton and I've never felt anything like this before and actually like connecting with my friends and everyone else here is an amazing experience.
