Multimillionaire entrepreneur Brittney Lee Saunders admitted she has only been to the Western Sydney suburb of Parramatta once before - despite choosing it as her new store location.

The 31-year-old visited the suburb ahead of launching her fifth clothing store on Argyle Street outside the Westfield shopping centre.

'I woke up in Parramatta of all places today, and I will say I've never spent any time in Parramatta,' she said in a video.

'I think I've been to Parramatta once in my life.'

The young Aussie started her business empire in Newcastle and launched Fayt The Label (pronounced fate) in September 2017.

Parramatta is 24km west of the Sydney CBD and has an estimated population of 269,145.

Today, more than 65 percent of Parramatta's population were born overseas and some 140 different languages are spoken in the area.

The Parramatta of today is defined just as much by its people as it is by its ever-expanding array of new businesses - perhaps why Brittney is opening a store there.

Brittney is originally from Newcastle but now spends most of her time in Sydney tending to her businesses and speaking on podcasts.

Fayt The label offers clothing in a wide variety of sizes and high-quality fabrics, with sizes ranging from 6 to 24.

In recent years a number of store locations have opened, including Westfield Miranda in Sydney, Westfield Chermside in Brisbane, and Hawthorn in Melbourne and the store's Newcastle boutiques.

Brittney is also the proud CEO of Staple Swim, Form Active, Fayt The Store, Outdo Collective and Outdo Espresso.

In January Brittney also revealed the bizarre reason she named her successful fashion label Fayt rather than 'Fate'.

The influencer detailed the elaborate thought process that went into the eventual name in a lengthy Instagram post.

In the video, she explained to her followers she was scared she could be 'sued' for using the original spelling of the name "fate".

'I remember thinking to myself, "If I spell it the normal way, what if I get sued?" I had no idea about any of that when it came to business,' she said.

'But the only reason I changed the spelling was because I was worried someone would come after me.'

Brittney admitted she's since learned that's not the case.

However, while the alternative spelling may have saved her from 'being sued', it hasn't prevented fans from getting the pronunciation utterly wrong.

'I genuinely cannot believe how many people have thought that my business name was pronounced "Fat The Label",' Brittney said.
