Mydin launches MydinPay ewallet, offering cashback and vouchers
SUBANG JAYA: Mydin launches MydinPay with vouchers and cashback for new users and customers.
The first 1000 users to register with the ewallet will receive a RM5 voucher, while the first 3,000 customers to spend RM150 and above will receive a 5% cashback on their purchase.
“Mydin has ensured that we remain competent and agile in the technological world,” said Mydin managing director Datuk Ameer Ali Mydin during the launch here on Tuesday (June 25).
He was confident that MydinPay would be well received.
“MydinPay allows Mydin to focus on promotions, rewards, coupons, and rebates tailored to Mydin's business format,” he said.
He added that Mydin caters to the less tech-savvy, and MydinPay would attract more Malaysians to go cashless and adopt technology in their everyday lives.
Digital Minister Gobind Singh Deo officiated the launch.
He said that the MydinPay aligns with the government's efforts to digitalise the economy.
“Our digital economy is growing rapidly, and we have great potential to elevate Malaysia in the global economic arena,” he said
He encourages other industries to follow suit and contribute to the growth of the national digital economy.
