Xabi Alonso rules out move to become Liverpool manager

We’ve been here many, many times and it’s been a season with. We have had a lot of speculations regarding my my future. Until now, we had so many games. We’ve been pretty busy. We’ve been pretty, pretty focused and I wanted to to use that time of the international break to to reflect a little bit better and to to take a decision. And last last week. I had a very good meeting with with Simon, with Fernando, with Sir Marin when I informed them that my decision to to continue being coach of bio level cushion and at this moment I feel that this is the the right place for me to to be to develop as a as a coach. I am a young coach but. I have to feel it and right now I feel that this is the right place and I have. To thank many the management, the club that has been really, really supportive. I feel really, really respected by all the departments, the fans that they show a great support during this this year, last year as well in difficult moments. I felt that and they have all the reasons to to believe and to to dream that we can have a great season and we are really pushing for that. The players, they gave me so many reasons to keep believing in in in the team, for their commitment, for the desire for their hunger to to have a great season. I feel that my job is not, is not over here. I want to help them, I want to help the team, I want to help the young players to develop and if I am part of the process, I’m happy with that. So putting all the things together, I’ve taken this, this important decision. Hopefully I’m convinced it’s the right one. I’m happy and. I’m still young, so time will tell, but right now I I feel like that.
