Take a day trip to Ko Lan
Considering that we’re writing a travel guide for a coastal province, it is a given that a day trip to an island ought to be on the list. A small, serene island set off the coast of Pattaya, Ko Lan is known for its pristine waters, crystalline beaches, and beach activities such as parasailing and snorkelling. For the best vistas, head over to the Big Buddha viewpoint. Travellers have two options to get to the island: a ferry that takes approximately 40 minutes or a speedboat that takes approximately 20 minutes. This one’s for those looking to spend the day by the sea, sand, and sun.

Go beach hopping around the province
For those who don’t wish to traverse to an island but still wish to explore beaches, we recommend beach hopping around the province. Chonburi is home to numerous shores and beaches, varying from serene, secluded beaches to bustling, balmy beaches. Here is our guide to beach hopping in Chonburi: Pattaya Beach for the vibes and the buzz, Bang Saen Beach for the seafood and cultural events, Sai Kaew Beach for the tranquility and scenic beauty, Jomtien Beach for the dining scene and water activities, and Wong Amat Beach for the solitude and luxury resorts.
