Eagles Offseason Schedule: When Do OTAs, Minicamp Begin?

Changes have come to the Philadelphia Eagles coaching staff, roster, and now their overall practice schedule.

With the second phase of offseason workouts scheduled to begin this week, the start of OTAs is finally upon us. OTAs allow the Eagles and other NFL teams to continue to ramp up their work in the offseason as they install plans for the upcoming year ahead.

Below is the current Eagles' offseason workout schedule.

OTA Schedule: May 20, May 22-23, May 28, May 30-31

Mandatory Minicamp: June 4-6

It's important to note that the Eagles will be hosting their first minicamp under Nick Sirianni since his first season as head coach in 2021. Philadelphia has new offensive and defensive coordinators so it makes sense for the organization to want the extra practice time on both sides of the ball.

Philadelphia is coming off a year where the team lost six of their final seven games including a difficult 32-9 playoff loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Since that playoff loss, the Eagles have brought in offensive coordinator Kellen Moore, defensive coordinator Vic Fangio, and placed many of their top coaches and players on the hot seat.

In the end, the extra practice time will come in handy for the organization as they try to get back to being an NFL power for the 2024 season.
