His departure from UCLA ultimately served the best interests of both parties involved. Kelly got the change of scenery he desired. At the same time, UCLA seized the opportunity to usher in a new era under Foster’s leadership, one that promises a fresh perspective and renewed energy.

As the Bruins turn the page on the Kelly era and embrace the dawn of a new era, there’s a palpable sense of optimism and anticipation for what lies ahead.
