‘Victory’: Trump’s Supreme Court case will ‘further delay’ District of Columbia trial
University of California Political Science Professor Louis DeSipio says Donald Trump’s Supreme Court case will “further delay” his District of Columbia trial which is a “victory” for him.
The Supreme Court has heard arguments in Donald Trump’s immunity cases.
Justices are divided, and a decision may not come until June.
“President Trump probably got what he wanted out of the Supreme Court, even though it hasn’t ruled yet and may not for another couple of months, in that it will further delay that trial in the District of Columbia,” Mr DeSipio told Sky News Australia.

“The delay means that that trial will not happen until after the election if it happens at all.
“That’s a victory for former president Trump.”
