Victoria Shadow Treasurer Brad Rowswell says Victoria will be “open for business” again under the Liberal National government, as Labor continues to impose high taxes.

In recent years the state government introduced a payroll tax levy on businesses to help fund mental health services and repay $31.5 billion in COVID debt.
“We need to start rolling out the red carpet, and less red tape for businesses,” Mr Roswell told Sky News Australia.
“Last year there were some five thousand plus businesses that closed.
“Victoria will be open for business under a Liberal National government here after the 2026 election.
“We have got to grow the economy, we’ve got to stimulate the economy by getting off people’s backs, by getting off businesses backs.”
