Jets 2024 Schedule: Five-Game Stretch to Determine New York's Playoff Future?
Once again, the New York Jets will enter the season filled with hope of optimism that Aaron Rodgers can be the driving force in making them relevant again.
Last season, those hopes were dashed just four snaps in with Rodgers injuring his Achilles. But now, as we look ahead to the 2024 season, the Jets have a good chance to start the year with a bang.
They will face three rookie quarterbacks in the first five games of the season, which could lay the foundation for a solid 2024 season.
But towards the end of the year, the Jets will be getting an early start on playoff football as a tough five-game stretch to the end the regular season could also end their playoff hopes.
"The Jets close the season with five games against teams that all finished above .500 last season with the Dolphins, Jaguars, Rams, Bills, Dolphins," CBS Sports writes. "That's the kind of stretch that could knock the Jets out of playoff contention if they're not hot late in the year."

Also, considering that three of those five games are on the road, the Jets could be in for quite the battle to make the postseason.
Armed with a talented roster, Rodgers and Co. will need to be at their best to stack the number of wins required to make the playoffs, but that will be anything but easy.
The AFC East will likely determine the Jets' future, as three of the final six games—including the last two—will be against division opponents.
There is so much hope and optimism around the franchise that this season, the Jets can finally amount to something, but the NFL hasn't done them any favors with a brutal end to the season.
But one thing is for sure: if the Jets do make the playoffs, with the teams they face in the lead-up, they will definitely have earned it.
