Taylor Swift fans are still taking in the drama from The Tortured Poets Department, and now the hitmaker has stunned them with the announcement of a second version of the poetry album.
Taking to social media, Taylor unveiled the exciting news to her millions of dedicated fans. “It’s a 2am surprise: The Tortured Poets Department is a secret DOUBLE album,” Taylor penned in the post.
She went on: “I’d written so much tortured poetry in the past 2 years and wanted to share it all with you, so here’s the second installment of TTPD: The Anthology. 15 extra songs. And now the story isn’t mine anymore… it’s all yours.”

Reacting to the exciting news, fans have flocked to social media. One person said: “YOU ARE LITERALLY A GENIUS AND MY WORST NIGHTMARE AT THE SAME TIME I LOVE YOU.” While another added: “TAYLOR WE STILL HAVEN’T RECOVERED FROM THE FIRST ONE.”
When Taylor unveiled the original album for The Tortured Poets Department, she took to social media and penned a lengthy message for her fans. She wrote: “The Tortured Poets Department. An anthology of new works that reflect events, opinions and sentiments from a fleeting and fatalistic moment in time – one that was both sensational and sorrowful in equal measure.
“This period of the author’s life is now over, the chapter closed and boarded up. There is nothing to avenge, no scores to settle once wounds have healed. And upon further reflection, a good number of them turned out to be self-inflicted.”
She went on: “This writer is of the firm belief that our tears become holy in the form of ink on a page. Once we have spoken our saddest story, we can be free of it. And then all that’s left behind is the tortured poetry.”
Taylor Swift fans looking at resale tickets for the upcoming Eras Tour in the Ireland and the UK can purchase them from from a number of online retailers right now. Although the below sellers, including viagogo and Vivid Seats, are not “official” retailers, they do have a number of strict terms and conditions in place to keep ticket buyers and ticket sellers safe.
Eras Tour hopefuls can choose exactly where they want to sit or stand in their stadium of choice – but there is a catch. Ticket prices are set by the sellers themselves, so fans may see some Taylor Swift Tickets priced much higher than they might expect.
