A Longford based building firm has signalled its intention to build 24 new homes by extending a prime energy efficient housing estate in Westmeath.
Mulleady Properties and Co Ltd have lodged plans with local planning officials to construct 12 two bedroom houses and eight three bedroom units at Delvin’s Cluain Lorcain housing estate.
The plans also provide for two, one bedroom and two further two bedroom semi-detached houses.
The leading midlands based construction firm, which has previously undertaken developments in Athlone, Mullingar, Longford and Trim, say the project will form a continuation of the Cluain Lorcain housing estate.
The development also provides for the installation of a wastewater pumping station as well as raising the site’s main connection to serve both the proposed development and eight houses on the estate.
A decision on the plans is expected to be made by February 20 next year.
