We welcome this investigation because it allows us to draw a line in relation to this matter. I have full confidence in Angela Rayner and that she hasn’t broken the rules. She will cooperate with the investigation, as you would expect. It is now a matter for the police. We need to let them get on with their job and I think. Obviously it’s right for her to cooperate. Obviously it’s right for us now to give them the space to do the job that they’ve got to do. In this case, as you know, she’s given answers on the issue many, many times over. She’s clearly said she’ll cooperate with the police. I do think that now is the time to let the police get on with their investigation, get on the work, what they need to do. She’ll cooperate with that, which is exactly what you’d expect of her. The investigation is starting today. She’ll cooperate with that. We need to let the police get on with their job. Look, she has given answers many times over. She’s going to cooperate. Police just need the space and the time to get on with the job that they need to do.
