New menus are dropping left and right, but none of them seem to be as sweet as the collaboration that Krispy Kreme is releasing soon.
The doughnut company is partnering with Kit Kat on an all-new collection of three doughnuts and we need these creamy chocolate and crispy wafer-covered creations right now!
The Details on These Sweet Treats
Customers can get the doughnuts starting April 10 for a limited time at participating locations. They will be available for pickup and delivery via the Krispy Kreme app and website, the company said in a news release.
The three new flavors include a Kit Kat Crunch Doughnut, which is an Original Glazed doughnut hand-dipped in Hershey’s milk chocolate icing, and then finished with chopped Kit Kat pieces and chocolate-flavored crispies.
There is also the Kit Kat Cookie Dream Doughnut, which is an unglazed doughnut filled with cookie dough flavored cream, hand-dipped in Hershey’s milk chocolate icing, and then covered with chopped Kit Kat pieces, cookie crumbles, and semi-sweet Hershey’s chips. It is finished off with a delicate drizzle of cookie dough-flavored icing.
Finally, the partnership will bring customers a Kit Kat Salted Caramel Brownie Doughnut. This Original Glazed doughnut is topped with brownie batter-flavored buttercream, covered with chopped Kit Kat and brownie pieces, and finished off with salted caramel-flavored ribbons.
Customers can also find the Kit Kat Crunch Doughnut and Kit Kat Salted Caramel Brownie Doughnut in 6-packs delivered to select grocery stores, according to Krispy Kreme. The 6-packs are available at participating Walmart, Kroger, Food Lion, Publix, Slater Brothers, and more stores.
Customers can use Krispy Kreme’s shop locator to find their nearest shop or grocery store location.
Other New Menus to Look Out For
It’s fitting that Krispy Kreme released this new lineup of doughnuts now because Dunkin’ Donuts and Starbucks both announced new menus that will be released in the next few weeks.
For Dunkin’, the “Early Summer Menu” will launch on May 1 and features a variety of new drinks, including adding Lemonade to the permanent menu. This new menu will also have three new food items and a returning drink.
Starbucks will release two new rounds of drinks. First, they have a boba lemonade refresher line that will have raspberry popping pearls to various flavored refreshers. They are also adding a new cake and a cake pop to this menu.
Then, they will release a line of spicy drinks that feature chili powder mixed in. Those are a very limited-time-only item, though, and only certain locations will have them.
