Update: Winter storm watch issued, tracking snow, wintry mix for the Susquehanna Valley

Snow is in the forecast for South-Central Pennsylvania.

There is a chance for rain, snow and a wintry mix in south-central Pennsylvania.

Potential for plowable snow

• The system tracks to our south on Monday, bringing the threat of rain during the afternoon.
• Overnight into Tuesday morning, cold air could wrap in, switching the rain over to a wintry mix or even all snow in some areas.
• It is possible parts of the Susquehanna Valley, areas to the north and northwest, could get plowable snow. Southern counties will likely see more rain and a wintry mix.
• A winter storm watch has been issued from late Monday into Tuesday afternoon.
• The storm system is expected to move out of our area sometime around midday on Tuesday.

Note: Late Monday night into Tuesday is an Impact period.
