A speeding 14-year-old driver was killed and his three young passengers were seriously hurt when he lost control of his ride in a tragic upstate New York crash over the weekend, authorities said.
The underage motorist was zooming in the town of Mooers, on the Canadian border, around 1:45 a.m. Sunday and failed to navigate a curve on Depot Street, New York State Police said.
He lost control of the vehicle, which veered off the north shoulder of the roadway — striking multiple trees before coming to a rest, cops said.
A 14-year-old boy was killed and his passengers — two girls, 12 and 13 — and a 14-year-old boy, were seriously hurt.
