With the question, “Do I have to sign in to PSN to play a PlayStation game on PC?” it was previously stated that this was “optional” in the FAQs. However, in the quietly revised answer, Sony claims that “Some PlayStation games may require you sign in and link to an account for PSN.” Although Helldivers 2 is being review bombed in the wake of this controversy, this change could imply that Sony is sticking to its guns on this particular issue.
