dollar-tree-3
Just because we all have spring cleaning on the mind doesn’t mean that there aren’t plenty of other great reasons to get our clutter under control.
Things like appliance cords, junk drawers, and those miscellaneous art projects may all need a little extra help when it comes to keeping tidy, which is why we’re obsessing over this woman’s Dollar Tree haul. Not only did she get everything she needed to keep those items in check, but she didn’t have to break open her piggy bank to pick them up!
What’s better than getting your home in order? Getting it done at a discount, of course. That’s why busy mama @thecraftedstudioco is heading to the Dollar Tree to get her supplies.
As you can see, she really scored when she shopped the discount retailer, getting clear command hooks, drawer organizers, and even storage boxes on the cheap. We’re really loving how she put all of these items to use around her home, too, especially when it comes to her drawer organizational cubes. The key to making this fun trick work is using glue dots, so that your cubes stay put and don’t fall over when you’re opening and closing your drawers!
Dollar Tree has even more where these organizational ideas came from! Just take a look at these other great finds before you head out to the store!
DIY Bins Can Transform Into Multi-Use Organizers
Need somewhere to stash some of your stuff out of sight while keeping it accessible? See how this woman took some of the Dollar Tree’s multi-use bins and then hot glued them together, creating a tiered stand.
But she didn’t stop there, after reinforcing the bins with some pool noodles (brilliant) she purchased a few totes so that she could keep her items hidden from view, reducing visual clutter while she was at it.
Build a Storage Tower Using Plastic Totes
Another great tiered idea comes to us from this woman, who combined sturdy plastic totes and some serving trays to create a tower of closed bins for her stuff. This would be the perfect place to put toys in a play room, out of season clothes in a closet, or honestly, just about anything anywhere.
You just have to remember that you’ll need to stash your heavy stuff in the bottom tote when doing things this way so that the tower doesn’t become top heavy, dumping your stuff out on the floor.
The Dollar Tree Has Everything You Need
As you can see, you can really get almost everything you’ll need to straighten up around the house form the Dollar Tree. Sure, some things you’ll have to get a little creative with, but for the most part you can get your home tidy while shopping the discount retailer!
