Real estate mogul Barbara Corcoran has shared a unique way you can secure the house of your dreams – even if it’s not up for sale.

The 74-year-old multimillionaire, who currently has a reported net worth of roughly $100 million, is known for her money-making business deals that she makes on Shark Tank.

Barbara, who has previously insisted that the best way to save money is to spend it,  frequently shares advice on how to use inflation and the soaring housing market rates to your advantage – adding that it’s always the right time to buy a house.

Now, the entrepreneur has revealed that there’s more than one way to purchase a home as she shared that she bought one by writing a love letter to the current owners.

Now, the entrepreneur has revealed that there’s more than one way to purchase a home as she shared that she bought one by writing a love letter to the current owners

She shared that unconventional hack on a new video posted to her TikTok account.

She said: ‘Let me tell you about the last three houses I bought. I found a house that I loved looking at it from the outside, I loved the neighborhood, and I loved the house.

‘So, I wrote the owners a love letter.’

The Shark noted that although there were people living in the home, she wanted to do something to show that she was very interested.

So, she wrote them a letter and shared her admiration for their home.

She then revealed the details of the letter and said: ‘[I said], “Hey, I love your house, [here’s] what I love about it, and are you thinking of selling?”

After sending the letter, she began having conversations with the owners and ended up buying the home plus two others on the block.

‘Write a love letter if you see a house you love,’ she said at the end of the clip.

The multimillionaire owns a $15 million penthouse in New York City, but she has admitted that she prefers to live in a nearly $1 million mobile home located in a luxurious trailer park in Los Angeles.

Barbara grew up in a working-class family in Edgewater, New Jersey, and went on to form her own real estate brokerage firm, The Corcoran Group, which she sold for $66 million in 2001.

She has two children — an adult son, Tom Higgins, and a teenage daughter, Kate Higgins — with husband Bill Higgins, a retired Navy captain and FBI agent.

As an investor on Shark Tank, ABC’s four-time Emmy award-winning show, she has invested in more than 80 businesses to date.
