Several rounds of dangerous severe weather to roar across central US

Well, after a break break from severe weather, unfortunately we’re in for five days of severe weather here Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, probably Monday as well. And all forms of severe weather are possible in here. In concluding damaging wind gusts of 80 mph. And I, I think we, we may see a slew of tornadoes with this unfortunately. Here’s the zone that we’re tracking here beginning on Thursday lasting through at least Sunday. It’s a pretty big area here as we’re looking at two storms. That means rounds of severe thunderstorms. All forms of severe weather are possible, including flash flooding. Let me show you the storms that are going to do this. We’ve got to take you out into the Pacific here. Here’s our first system. This is the energy off the California coast. This is the severe weather threat Thursday into Friday. Then this is round two. This is going to be this weekend, Saturday, Sunday, and it may linger in the Monday as well. Let’s track these systems here, though they’re separated by about 24 hours or so, so they’re going to come back-to-back. We track our first system. Here it comes. Watch the energy map here. It comes into Southern California. Now, this will remain relatively weak as it crosses the Four Corners area Saturday afternoon. That’s why the severe weather with this on Saturday, I think there’s going to be severe weather, but I don’t think it’s going to be widespread. I think it’s going to be spotty. But watch how this energy and you can see this start to increase when you start seeing more Reds and magentas showing up here. Watch this as this comes out of the Rockies and into the Plains. You see how that starts to get a wrap up here across central parts of Nebraska. Now this looks eerily similar to what we saw April 16th in Iowa. It’s not exactly the same, No2 systems are ever the exact same, but there are some similarities. And I am worried with this increasing moisture that we’re going to see a bigger severe weather a day here on Friday compared to Thursday. I’ll show you that in a second. Now, this will then weaken on Saturday. But look what’s going on here. A strong piece of energy comes into the Southwest. Now, unlike its predecessor, this is stronger in the Southwest than it is in the Midwest. So that tells me your bigger severe weather with this system is going to be Saturday in the central and southern Plains here, and then it’ll lift northeastward and bring some severe weather as we move in this Sunday and probably Monday as well. Here’s day one spotty storms here from Lincoln toward Wichita Falls, but they’re going to be heavy. I think the main impacts are going to be large hail and damaging wind gusts with an AccuWeather local storm back 75 mph. If we get tornadoes, I think it’s a spotty, spotty or isolated tornadoes. This is the bigger day. This is the concern I have where we can have over a dozen tornadoes here in this modern area especially, which includes I35 and I29 here. So let’s keep an eye on this. I think this is a big severe weather day. Now. This storm sleeves and then you’ve got that second storm and I, I at some point here in the next couple of days. And remember, this is Saturday. So where we are at Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, four days away. I suspect we’ll be adding a moderate area somewhere in here as we get into the weekend here for Saturday. And again, I’d worry that this could be some tornadoes here, hail and downpours as well. And then the threat’s not gone. Everything moves to the Northeast as we get into Sunday. I think Saturday’s a bigger day than Sunday, but there’s still a severe weather risk. And it’s a large area from Little Rock St. Louis towards Chicago.
