Former Dub's star Philly McMahon posts loving tribute to wife on Valentine's Day

These days Philly McMahon has his plate full of different projects but for Valentine’s Day, the former Dublin player posted a loving tribute to his wife, Sarah Lacey.

Philly who co-owns the meal brand NutriQuick also decided to open his café last year in Finglas called Wobble, which serves breakfast and lunch. (Make sure to check out soufflé pancakes yum!).

Philly and Sarah tied the knot at Laurence Church in Athy, Co Kildare in 2019. They then headed to Kilkea Castle to celebrate with their pals and Philly’s teammates.

Thinking about all the reasons he loves her this Valentine’s, Philly decided to share some of their happy memories together- top of the pile is of course the day they said ‘I do’ after he proposed under the Northern Lights during a holiday to Iceland.

Keeping the message short, sweet, and simple the Dublin man wished his wife of nearly five years a Happy Valentine’s Day.

Sarah looked beautiful on her big day in an elegant lacy gown, featuring a daring low-cut neckline and a gorgeous train.

In 2022 the couple welcomed their first child, Baby Leannain and took to parenthood like a duck to water.

Posting their news online they told family and friends ‘Welcome to the world Baby Leannain (Lennon) Mc Mahon. Thank you @sarahlaceybindi for bringing this special little man into the world you are amazing.

‘Thank you to all the Staff in Rotunda Hospital for your unconditional care to both my wife and Leannain.’

And while we don’t see any roses or chocolates we just wonder if Sarah was treated to one of these special wibbly wobbly pancakes from Philly’s café for Valentine’s Day!
