The 2024 NFL Draft is finally set to get underway this Thursday night from Detroit, Michigan.
Tonight’s first round is expected to feature plenty of action, as many in the football world are predicting a number of trades given the quality of quarterbacks in this year’s class. It’s not all just quarterbacks, though – there’s plenty of premier talent available at several positions, including receiver and offensive line.
With Day 1 of the 2024 NFL Draft set to begin this evening, Pick Six Previews sought to find which schools produced the most players selected since the turn of the century.
Their findings are listed below:
- Ohio State – 163 players drafted
- Alabama – 154
- Georgia – 149
- LSU – 148
- Florida – 134
- Miami – 128
- USC – 124
- Oklahoma – 117
- T- Florida State – 115
- T- Michigan – 115
- Notre Dame – 105
- Penn State – 102
- Clemson – 97
Honorable mentions: Tennessee (93), Auburn (85), Iowa (85)
The first round of the 2024 NFL Draft should see several of the schools listed above – including Ohio State, Alabama and LSU – add to their totals.
It’s likely the Buckeyes retain the top spot after this spring’s draft – but it wouldn’t be surprising to see Alabama, Georgia and others make up some ground.
The 2024 NFL Draft will get underway tonight at 8 p.m. ET.
