Oti Mabuse admits her body 'has changed so much' since giving birth to her first child three weeks ago as she returns to the dance studios ahead of Dancing On Ice

Oti Mabuse has candidly admitted that she feels her body ‘has changed so much’ as she returned back to her dance studios on Saturday ahead of Dancing On Ice.

The professional dancer, 33, who welcomed her first child just three weeks ago with husband Marius Lepure, revealed it was ‘really nice’ to get back dancing in the studio again.

Although the Strictly Come Dancing star understood it’s only been three weeks since her birth, Oti was shocked at how ‘soft’ her body was during rehearsals, which left her ‘exhausted’.

Speaking to her fans in a video on Instagram, Oti said: ‘First day back teaching at the school, it was so nice to see everyone, really really nice. All the teachers, all the students.

‘Guys when I tell you, my body has changed, of course my body has changed like I pushed a head, two lungs, two eyes, two legs, two arms out, yes… but everything is soft.

Although the Strictly Come Dancing star understood it’s only been three weeks since her birth, Oti was shocked at how ‘soft’ her body was during rehearsals, which left her ‘exhausted’

‘Like I was walking and my ankle just went. If I go down, my legs are like “you need help to get back up”, like I would spin and my organs would come after me behind, but I loved it.

‘I love dancing again in the studio, with our students and teaching and everyone was like “did you miss us?”, I was like “yes! I’ve been dancing in the living room, changing nappies and when somebody gets fed with a bottle”. I missed it and I missed them, they’re my people.

‘It was an experience, but I’m exhausted now, but I had such a good time with the group class and the private lessons, everything. But my god I am tired and everything is soft.

Oti recently looked as glamorous as ever as she posed up a storm in the first official Dancing On Ice 2024 photographs.

In the shot, Oti cut a glamorous figure in a white one-shouldered gown, which she styled with a pair of glitzy jewelled earrings.

Other official Dancing On Ice photographs showed her fellow judges Jayne Torvill, Christopher Dean and Ashley Banjo posing for the cameras.

New hosting duo Holly Willoughby and Stephen Mulhern also featured in a shot, after Holly’s last minute decision to return to the show after her This Morning exit.

After weeks of deliberating over whether to present the ITV skating show, she signed the deal over Christmas and is said to be ‘excited’ about to getting back to work on the show that she hosted with her former friend Phillip Schofield for many years.

While Phillip Schofield isn’t returning to the show, he is being replaced by ITV favourite Stephen, 46, who will be joining Holly, 42, for the series.

She took to Instagram to announce she had given birth with a sweet snap on Christmas Day, before her older sister Motsi accidentally revealed the tot’s gender. 

In the snap, Oti and her husband Marius wore festive onesies as they lovingly cradled their newborn baby and beamed from ear to ear.

She captioned the post: ‘Merry Christmas Wishing you all a wonderful festive season and special memories with loved ones.

Her sister, Strictly host Motsi, 42, shared her own snap alongside husband Evgenij Voznyuk where she revealed she was the proud auntie of a baby girl.

She said: ‘Merry Christmas call us Auntie & Uncle !! Welcome to the family baby girl @otimabuse & @mariusiepure welcome to parenthood lol it’s going to be fun.’

Oti and Marius announced they were expecting on August 26, revealing their surprise baby news live on the mother-to-be’s own ITV breakfast show.

Dancing on Ice starts Sunday 14th January, 6:30pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
