A high-density residential development could be coming to Halls Head after a site was sold to a local developer.
The 4028sqm site at 24 Hungerford Avenue was sold for $940,000 to a local developer, marketed as catering to the growing demand for housing in Mandurah.
If homes are built on the site they will abut Halls Head Central, which includes Coles, Kmart, and Bunnings.

The development was marketed by RWC WA agents Stephen Harrison and Brett Wilkins on behalf of the sellers, Cape Bouvard.
Mr Wilkins said the market had seen some recent challenges but sentiment was starting to shift with the site selling quickly.
“The market in the area has seen properties averaging a longer period on the market prior to selling, reflecting challenges due to high construction costs,” he said.
“However, there has been a recent shift in appetite among buyers following the stabilisation of rates and construction costs, indicating a more favourable outlook for future developments.
