Ohio native John Legend joins Cleveland Orchestra at Blossom Music Center
John Legend honored at Grammys’ Black Music Collective event
CUYAHOGA FALLS, Ohio (WOIO) – The Cleveland Orchestra announced it will perform with multi-platinum artist John Legend at Blossom Music Center at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 8.
Legend will be making his Cleveland Orchestra debut in Cuyahoga Falls as he brings his live show to select venues across the country this summer.
With an Emmy, 12 Grammy awards, an Academy Award, and a Tony to his name, the Ohio native is one of only 19 artists who have earned the coveted EGOT title.
An Evening With John Legend: A Night of Songs and Stories with The Cleveland Orchestra will feature intimate renditions of his greatest hits (’All of Me,’ ‘Ordinary People,’ ‘Tonight’), alongside unexpected stories from his life and career, as well as tracks from his latest album, LEGEND (’Nervous,’ ‘Wonder Woman’), out now on Republic Records.
