USC football wide receiver Zachariah Branch has signed an NIL deal with EA Sports College Football 25, and is opting into the game, according to Pete Nakos of On3.
Branch will join the popular college football video game, which returns for the first time since it was last sold in 2013. The game will be released in summer of 2024.
Players whose name, image and likeness will be utilized in the game are expected to receive $600 and a copy of the video game, via ESPN’s Michael Rothstein.
Branch will be an exciting player after his tremendous freshman season with USC. In his freshman year, Branch was known for his electric ability as a returner. Branch accumulated both a kick return and punt return touchdown, and a total of 774 punt and kick return yards.
His college career started with immediate success. Branch put up 232 all-purpose yards in his first game for the Trojans, immediately capturing national attention for his speed and elusiveness.
On top of his returning production, Branch recorded 31 receptions for 320 yards and two touchdowns, and nine rushes for 70 yards and one touchdown.
Branch received plenty of recognition following his freshman season, becoming a first-team All-American, first-team All-Pac-12 and winning the Jet Award, given to the top return specialist in college football.
Look for Branch’s speed and return ability to make a splash in the return of EA Sports College Football.
