Former Oregon State running back Damien Martinez officially entered the NCAA transfer portal on Tuesday. He has scheduled multiple visits over the next month, according to Hayes Fawcett of On3.
The 5-foot-10, 217-pound running back will visit Arizona (April 17-18), Mississippi State (April 19-20), Tennessee (April 21-22), Kentucky (April 22-24), and Miami (April 25-27).
Martinez has been a major contributor for the Beavers over the past two seasons. In 25 career games, he recorded 2,167 rushing yards and 16 rushing touchdowns. In 2022, he was named the Pac-12 Offensive Freshman of the Year and earned Freshman All-American honors.
Last season, Martinez earned first-team All-Pac-12 honors and was a semifinalist for the Doak Walker Award. He finished the season with over 1,100 rushing yards and nine rushing touchdowns.
Martinez is the No. 1 available running back in the NCAA transfer portal, according to On3.
