2 winning $50K Powerball tickets sold in New York
NEW YORK (PIX11) – Two people now have an extra $50,000 in their pocket after winning the third prize in the Powerball, the New York Lottery announced on Tuesday.
The two winning draws were selected on Monday, officials said.

One ticket was sold at a Stop & Shop located on Newtown Lane in East Hampton, and the second winning ticket was sold at a local deli in Flushing located on Kissena Boulevard.
The winning numbers for Monday’s drawing were 17, 36, 43, 53, 67 and the Powerball was 14. The lucky winners matched four numbers and the Powerball to take home the third-tier prize.
No grand prize winners were announced. The next Powerball drawing will be on Wednesday. The estimated cash value is $137 million.
