Zara combines two best-selling perfumes for a one-off scent that costs just €22.95

High street giant Zara is back with a new scent that is quite unusual because it combines two different perfumes. This time around though the fragrance is a special edition and it won’t be around for long.

Love Explosion EDP costs €22.95 for an 80ml bottle and it’s a fusion of two of its best-selling scents – Red Temptation and Rose Gourmand, marrying all the notes that make these so popular.

The new perfume from Zara takes the best notes of both of those scents to conjure up a juice that is both captivating and sexy.

Love Explosion has a blend of bergamot, bitter orange, and peony followed by heart notes of Rose, praline, and amber, and the base notes of moss, vanilla, and musk. In essence, it’s a fruity, floral and gourmand scent that is unlike most others out there, here’s why.

We are all aware of perfume versions, the idea of taking the heart of a best-selling scent and adding something different to it. This can be a seasonal thing, lighter fresher top notes for summer or dark and sexy base notes for a winter version of the original.

Usually, these are limited-edition for the season, but perfume makes also launch different concentration perfumes of the original that may be stronger like a parfum or eau de parfum (EDP), and then sometimes lighter with a L’Eau or eau de toilette (EDT). What Zara has done here is very unusual, combining two scents to make a singular mix of their best elements. We must stop by a store to give it a sniff before it’s gone.
