From Met Gala ball-gowns to Valentino mini dresses, Lupita Nyong’o never misses a beat with her stylish and glamorous wardrobe, often making her star of the show.
But as Lupita appeared on the red carpet in London (marking her first press tour stop to promote her forthcoming horror film, A Quiet Place: Day One) she was somewhat upstaged by a certain co-star; one with four legs, a tail and a bow tie.
Indeed, the evening became more catwalk than red carpet.
The culprit? Schnitzel the cat, who had made a surprise appearance much to the delight of fans.
Luckily for Schnitzel, with an adorable face like that, all can be forgiven.
Better still, we’ll be seeing more of Lupita’s feline friend, who will be starring alongside her in A Quiet Place: Day One, the much-anticipated prequel to hit thriller A Quiet Place, starring Emily Blunt and John Krasinski.

While Schnitzel the cat certainly looked dapper in his bow tie as he draped himself over Lupita’s shoulder, there’s plenty to be said about Lupita’s beautiful pink suit and bold accessories.
The classic tailoring of Lupita’s double-breasted blush-pink suit looked effortlessly chic, and was further complimented by her twinkling diamond jewellery.
