LeBron James, widely considered the greatest NBA player to ever hit the hardwood, may be officially over the hump in terms of fighting for league titles. His loathing comments are turning heads after James spoke with the media on Thursday.
James has always been known for his hunger and will to win. His ability to compete in the postseason and make a run at the Larry O’Brien trophy. This season that narrative has changed.
The Los Angeles Lakers find themselves down 3-0 to the Denver Nuggets in the first round. An outcome like this is usually the case when a No. 1 seed faces a No. 8 seed, but the Lakers have an all-time great rostered.

James spoke with the media following a brutal Game 3 loss. Many thought he would be frustrated, in disbelief, but that wasn’t the case.
When asked about the Lakers dooming first round, he simply said “At the end of the day, it’s just basketball,” via Bleacher Report on X.
This message from James turned into a barn brawl in the comments from NBA fans.
