On Saturday evening, the Boston Celtics defeated the Miami Heat in Game 3 of the NBA Playoffs first round.
The game wasn’t close, as the Celtics led by as much as 29 points in the third quarter and never looked back. The final score was 104-84 and Boston took a 2-1 series lead.
Jayson Tatum led the way for Boston as he tallied 22 points on 6/16 shooting, 11 rebounds, and six assists.
During the game, Tatum made NBA history as he surpassed Tony Parker to move into third all-time in playoff points before turning 27 years old with 2,309 points. The only two ahead of him are NBA legends Kobe Bryant and LeBron James. A significant accomplishment for the young superstar.
