these n.j. grocery stores have the worst lines, quality, and prices, according to survey

According to a survey, New Jersey grocery stores ranked towards the bottom on prices, quality of products and customer experience.

A new study from the website Solitaired analyzed 3,000 grocery store reviews in 100 cities to find the best and worst grocery stores and what made them so good or bad.

The findings were based on Google reviews regarding customer service, food quality, prices and how quickly people were able to move through checkout lines.

While Trader Joe’s as a whole excelled in the rankings, as well as Costco and Wegmans, other grocery stores did not fare so well.

In some areas, New Jersey grocery stores ranked towards the bottom in terms of “worst customer experience,” “worst quality” and “worst prices.”

The Whole Foods market on 135 Greene Street in Jersey City, New Jersey, for example, ranked second in terms of “grocery stores with the worst lines.” This same location also took seven years to open its doors.

Two other supermarkets in Jersey City also ranked in the top ten of “grocery stores with the worst food quality.”

CTown Supermarkets at 759 West Side Avenue came in at number five, and Exito Fresh Market at 115 Monticello Avenue came in at number nine for worst food quality.

The same CTown Supermarkets in Jersey City also ranked just behind Sprove Marketplace Asian Grocery Store & Gourmet Deli at 70 Christopher Columbus Drive in terms of “worst prices.” Sprove came in third while CTown came in fourth.

Morton Williams Supermarkets at 105 River Drive in Jersey City also ranked toward the bottom of the top ten “worst prices” list, coming in at number eight.
