Sometimes the weather prognosticators get it wrong.
Up to six inches of snow was in the forecast for parts of North Jersey. Gov. Phil Murphy extended a state of emergency through Friday. Some schools were closed or many had early dismissals.

In the end, Friday’s snowfall was underwhelming.

- Wantage – 2.1 inches
- Sparta – 1.6
- Stewartsville 1.5
- North Haledon – 1.3
- Ramsey – 1.0
- Butler – 1.0
