Morrisons shoppers can now earn 100 More Card points for every £1 they spend in spend in store.
The supermarket chain is offering shoppers the chance to earn 100 More Cards points when they dine at one of its 396 cafés and 19 Brew Bars. Under the offer, shoppers could earn hundreds of points when they buy food at the supermarket’s cafes.
According to the Morrisons website, the 100 points offer can be claimed with its Daily Meal Deal and its Kids Meal Deal. Under its meal deal, you can get any sandwich, sub, toastie or panini, a cake or teacake, and any regular hot or cold drink for £6. The Kids deal includes a kid’s sandwich, snack and drink for £3.50. If you bought one of these meals then you could earn 600 More Card points and 350 points respectively.
Morrisons told the Mirror that there was no maximum to how many points customers could earn and that the offer was on all day across its store estate. This means shoppers will be able to get the points if they order main meals such as fish and chips or bangers and mash. It also includes the supermarket’s breakfast menu.
Like other loyalty schemes, the Morrisons More scheme allows customers to earn points when they spend in-store and online but they only earn points on selected products. Alongside this Morrisons More members also receive exclusive offers and personalised discounts which they can cash in each week. Shoppers can also earn five points for every litre of fuel purchased at Morrisons forecourts. The more selected products you buy the more points you earn and if you accrue 5,000 you get a More Card Fiver which is worth £5.
The supermarket chain has recently updated its lunchtime menu introducing a variety of tasty, hot and cold sandwiches. New menu items include a Meatball Marinara Melt Sub, the Chargrilled Vegetable & Basil Pesto Panini and Southern Fried Chipotle Wrap. The new cold sandwiches are available for £4 with the hot ones priced at £4.50. These new items are included in the £6 meal deal offer.
Chris Strong, Morrisons Café Buying Manager said: “We are pleased to be giving our customers even more reasons to be visiting our cafés.
