The Colorado running back room went from as full as it could be to practically empty in the span of a couple of days.
Dylan Edwards, Sy’Veon Wilkerson, and Alton McCaskill all entered their name into the transfer portal, and are looking for a new place to call home. Of the three, McCaskill is the most proven thanks to his time at Houston which saw him rack up 961 yards and 16 touchdowns during his freshman season.
However, he wasn’t able to tap into that version of himself at Colorado under head coach Deion Sanders, as he played sparingly before deciding to redshirt. With a chance at a new start, McCaskill is already generating major interest.

According to a report by ESPN’s Pete Thamel, McCaskill is set to take a visit out West to one of the new Big Ten teams in the UCLA Bruins. It will be his first visit since entering the portal, and could be a great landing spot considering they lost Caron Steele.
