ESPN has released its ranking of the Top-10 quarterbacks entering the 2024 college football season.
Three quarterbacks received first-place votes, led by Georgia’s Carson Beck with five first-place selections. Oregon quarterback Dillon Gabriel received three first-place votes, while Texas’ Quinn Ewers earned two first-place selections.
Beck was voted the No. 1 quarterback in college football entering the 2024 season. He led the Bulldogs to the SEC Championship game and earned second-team All-SEC honors in his first season as the starter.
Beck completed 72.4% of his passes for 3,941 passing yards, 24 passing touchdowns, six interceptions, and four rushing touchdowns. He led the SEC in completions, passing attempts, and passing yards. He also ranked in the top 10 nationally for completions, completion percentage, passing yards, yards per attempt, passing efficiency, and total yards.
