ShopRite is hiring 300+ people ahead of opening its next N.J. store

ShopRite is holding a hiring event for its next opening in New Jersey.

ShopRite’s new supermarket — located on Route 9 at Shulmeister Rd. in Old Bridge’s new Glenwood Green Shopping Center — is expected to open in March.

The company is holding a job fair to hire about 300 employees before the opening.

Applicants can apply at ShopRite’s hiring office next door to the new Old Bridge location from Monday through Friday (9 a.m. to 6 p.m.) and Saturday (9 a.m. to 1 p.m.). More information can be found on the company’s website.

Job openings include full- and part-time roles in positions such as store management, customer service associates, cashier, deli, bakery, dairy, produce and seafood associates, butchers and more.

ShopRite of old Bridge will anchor the shopping complex in Old Bridge along with Target.

Other brands like Wawa, Paris Baguette, Duck Donuts, Shake Shack, Honeygrow and Chipotle are planned to open in the newly constructed shopping center.

There are currently over 270 ShopRite supermarkets throughout New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Delaware and Maryland. One current Shop Rite location is actually located 1.1 miles away from this new location, at 2239 US-9, Old Bridge, NJ 08857
