For decades, Disney has charmed audiences with stories featuring its iconic lineup of princesses. Soon, visitors to Tokyo’s Shibuya district will be able to see Snow White, Belle, Ariel and more come to life as shojo-esque manga heroines in a brand new princess-themed manga café.
Per PR Times, a popular chain called Oh My Café is collaborating with Disney for its upcoming “Manga Princess” cafe. For a limited time, customers will be treated to a “pop & retro”-themed eatery featuring food and drink items inspired by Princess Tiana, Cinderella, Belle, Ariel and Snow White. As shown below, the café’s decor presents new official redesigns for each princess in a style reminiscent of popular shojo titles like Sailor Moon or Fruits Basket. This artwork also appears on the café’s exclusive merchandise, which includes bottles, keychains, stickers, memo pads and more. The Manga Princess Café will be open for business from April 26 to June 9.

New Manga Princess Café Presents Disney Characters in Food Form
Oh My Café has a long-standing partnership with Disney. In the past, the brand has developed themed dining experiences for hit animated franchises like Zootopia, Peter Pan, Winnie the Pooh and Rapunzel, among others. For its “Manga Princess” café, the chain is introducing a vibrantly-colored spread that utilizes each princess’ signature color: yellow for Belle, green for Tiana, blue for Cinderella; pink for Ariel and red for Snow White. One of the menu’s highlights is the “Princess Pink Heart Curry” — a curry dish featuring heart-shaped rice with a side of leafy greens. Customers can also choose a rice pick featuring their favorite princess.
Another dish that incorporates all five princesses is the “Colorful Pasta,” which is made with raw ham and vegetables and comes on a plate adorned with heart-shaped accents. Customers can also choose from one of five differently-colored sauces. Finally, the “Princess Fruit Toast” features strawberries, blueberries and other fruits arranged on a fluffy piece of bread. In keeping with the princess color scheme, the plate is dotted with dollops of red, pink, yellow, green and blue sauces. Additionally, each princess has their own signature beverage — an array of fruity blends made with either yogurt or milk. Including tax, prices for these menu items range between 1,190 yen (US$7.72) to 2,090 yen (US$13.56).
