The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation on Friday announced that it has integrated its ticketing service with the ‘One Delhi’ application in order to allow commuters to have seamless and uninterrupted journeys. This move will help combine the Metro services with Delhi’s bus services.
How will the integration work?
Up until now, the app was used to generate QR tickets for the DTC buses in the city. With the integration, the app has now evolved into a comprehensive platform for organising seamless travel arrangements with the inclusion of QR tickets for the Delhi Metro as well, DMRC Principal Executive Director Anuj Dayal said.

He added that the One Delhi app was used to issue QR tickets for DTC buses only and saw an average number of daily ticket sales of 1.5 lakh and around three lakh active users. According to him, this integration will introduce an additional avenue for acquiring metro tickets, offering commuters the convenience of using a single app for booking both Delhi metro and bus tickets.
Dayal remarked that the integration will enhance the convenience of commuting on the Delhi Metro, providing passengers with a comprehensive solution for their transportation requirements. He added that the app extends beyond mere ticketing, offering integrated trip planning for buses and metros. If a passenger puts in their destination, the app will generate a detailed itinerary seamlessly incorporating both modes of transportation. This functionality eliminates the necessity to switch between various apps or consult different sources for bus and metro schedules, Dayal explained.
