“And we’re preparing next week to do the next increment of raise of five feet, which will be followed by another ten-day period of rest where the system is monitored very closely,” Steve Metzler, Senior Engineering Project Manager for The York Water Company.
When the project is fully complete, the company will be able to store about twice as much water for customers. Folks like boaters, who use the lake recreationally, will be able to do that again around Memorial Day.
