Chiefs react to first-round selection of wide receiver Xavier Worthy
The Kansas City Chiefs made a big splash on the opening night of the 2024 NFL Draft, trading up four spots with the Buffalo Bills to select Texas wide receiver Xavier Worthy with the 28th overall pick. The newest member of the Chiefs recorded the fastest 40-yard dash in NFL Combine history at 4.21 seconds in February, He will add a much-needed level of speed for head coach Andy Reid, quarterback Patrick Mahomes and their high-powered Kansas City offense.
